Just east of "The Rock Inn" we take a fire road and head north over the mountain into the Antelope Valley, cross the aqueduct and head across the valley. I hear there is 5" of snow above Ruby Canyon. There may still be a little left in the shady areas on Sunday.

That sounds like a pretty good ride. I'm open to any type of ride. I think the range of my bikes stock tank is about 70 to 100 mi. on the XR400. I'll bring a little fuel in my pack just in case. :ride:

Its up to you guys :excuseme: . We don't have to start early to beat the heat :D. What about 9:30 at the Starbucks north of Lake Hughes Road.

9:30ish works for me. I'm planning on getting a little breakfast before we head out then be there a few min before we hop on the bikes so I,m ready. What's the consensus? :ride:

Is THIS the meeting place?

Castaic & Lake Hughes, Castaic
31818 Castaic Road
Castaic, CA 913843929
661-775-9171

Is there some place near by I can park my pick-em-up truck were they won't TOW it away while I'm riding?

This seems to be turning out to be quite a group.

All ~ Yes, I believe that is the correct address. Not to be confused with the new Starbucks that is south of Lake Hughes Road.

There is plenty of safe parking and room to unload. :ride:

I will be having some breakfast at Tommie's Castaic Cafe Sunday at around 8:30am if anyone wants to join me. It is located on Castaic Road between Parker Road and Lake Hughes Road. If you are coming up the 5 get off on Parker road, turn right and then left at the stop sign (Castaic Road) and its on your right, some parking in front, more in back.
