Hi Bob- Welcome to CDSR.

I'm going out this Saturday, the 22nd. I'd be happy to ride around with you. It will just be local stuff. Let me know if you want to go. Maybe we can get sopme others to come as well.

Hi Mark- I didn't have any particular place in mind. Options.. :professor:

1- I thought if BobM chimes in we could tailor make a fun ride for him. Whatever suits his confidence level. Maybe I could even cajole a spin on that new 450..

2- Found a thing about a place in Antelope Valley I'd like to find but would need some GPS gurus to guide (hint Cal, Eric, Tony). Actually, this could also do if BobM shows, I guess.

3- You lead and take us where you want to go. I'm open for the whole day.

4- I REALLY need to work on my sand skilz. Again, probably AV somewhere.

So, yeah, I'm wide open. What do you think?

Being my first time, I hope I get to ask 1 stupid question. How "off road" does it get? Do you guys wear full off road gear?

RSC- We usually do lots of offroad, but none of it is hard. Fire roads, double track, a little single track, maybe. Maybe some tame water crossings. All fun stuff.

I use a moto-x style helmet and gear. :ride: :ride: :ride: :ride:

thanks Aaron. I just never pictured myself flying down the 118 in mx gear on a 450x. First time for everything.
