Postby ericbee » Sat Jan 15, 2011 2:42 pm

OK Guys - Got back from a great ride on Friday with Nitro and we thought, "Hey, why not ride again on Monday... it's a holiday! :)

Thinking about either Antelope Buttes, Rowher or......?

Drop a line if you're interested - we can't pass up this awesome (winter?) weather! :ride:

(Sorry we missed your ride today Aaron8 - hope you guys had a blast)

Bike is clean and I'm ready to roll.
Let's include a stop at one of the diners like we did in Green Valley for lunch.
It would be fun to ride Drinkwater Flats or Ruby Canyon (water crossings).
Or just out to Tehachappi. I don't care. Just posting some ideas.

Well Eric, looks like just us. Where do you want to go?
Did you want to run across the AV to Tehachappi? Or did you want to stay more local and do the Sports Complex and all those single tracks in there?
PM me or call. :ride:

Why don't we meet at Starbucks (Lk Hughes Rd) at 0900 hours. I do like the idea of AV but that sports center single track is cool... I guess we can have a mind-meld in the morning and make our decision then. I'll show up early for a shot o' caffeine so I'll be thinkin' straight

Hey Reg - If you're a goin' - are you gonna trailer? I could use a lift and maybe help out w/gas or a cup o' joe, lemme know.

BTW, I know it's January, but it's going to be 80 degrees F out that way tomorrow!!! :ride:

WooHoo! Once again, an epic ride for sure. I can't believe we covered so much ground (almost 90 miles) and got to do some really choice single track... never gets old!! :)

Thanks again for the lift Regulator.

And it was really great to have a new guy on the ride (Derek) w/that really new Husky, at least we got it a little dusty today.

Nitro - That GoPro HD footage of Friday's ride was remarkable, I can't believe how far the quality of video from those little cameras has come in the last few years.

...and on a related subject, I was too busy enjoying today's ride to take any decent photos, sorry.

Can't wait for the next ride! :ride:

Definitely was fun. :D
It was a good mix of dirt, road, single track, and hills.
Good to meet a new guy, Derek. And a couple more on the trail.
Looks like the start of another good riding season.

I'm looking forward to another night ride if the weather stays like this.
