I just confirmed a room at Motel 6 -- San Luis Obispo South. (#1373)
$56.99 for 2 Queen beds with 1 adult. Shouldn't be too much more for 2.
I like to camp but this will be easier in the a.m. I want a good breakfast.
I stayed at this motel 6 once before when my daughter was attending Cal Poly. It's fairly new, clean and near the freeway.

I went ahead and made a reservation at Motel 6 San Luis Obispo South.
That will make it much easier.

Thanks "D"

Ah yes,
What a great ride. The mountains all around SLO were still very green. It did turn out to be very warn but as long as you were moving it was fine. Unfortunaty my camera couldn't take the pounding so I'll have to rely on others for pics. Scott, it's always a pleasure and I am amazed what that XT225 is capable of with you as the pilot.
Here are a couple of borrowed pics. I spoke to the ranch owner about the water crossing and not enough people had trouble with the crossing so he's was going to do a little dregging for next year. (hope that's a joke)

As you can see I was lucky enough to pull it off.

Sounds like a great ride. I wanted to go but worked till 4am Saturday which kind of wasted the rest of my weekend. We will all be in trouble if Scott gets a bigger bike

Hey Duane, I don't remember that water crossing, only the one at Pozo(?).Was it at one of the ranches ? I was busy trying to keep Gabe in site on his borrowed KTM. Didn't even bother with the roll chart after hitting the first dirt section.Just followed the dust cloud. We only did about 115 miles(including a five mile detour).Did we miss a section ?
