Hey Chris,

Yea - This was at Osteys Ranch. Mr. Ostey was rooting us on and clicking off pics as we went through. There was actually a whole family swimming in a huge water hole about 50 yrds away. Sure looked nice at that point! I wonder if you missed the entire ranch. It was a good one with kool people.

That was the most fun I've had on two wheels (with a motor, that is). The ride was a lot more technical than I expected. I went down at least four times! Even looped it over backwards on the first steep hill. Duane and Wes rode great. I only took a couple pics at lunch but the District 37 website has plenty. There were lots of orange bikes out there. KTM dominates the dual sport world.

I've got the flyer and release downloaded. I'm pretty sure I'm in for this one.

Wow just looked at the picture Duane this looks like fun. Wish we had more time to talk about in when we rode. But I think I'm in for sure. I have printed my forms and ready to mail already. I will drive my truck up and maybe stay at the Motel 6 as well.

Sent the consent forms & my $ in on Friday. Looking forward to some good weather, good pals & a good ride. Looks like there are two routes to choose from. Having never ridden this event I am wondering if I should opt for the advanced course ?

Last year I took the main course and split off on a couple of advanced tracks depending on time. I think I chose to skip one of them due to group issues. Just wing it and have fun! :ride:
