Tank up on the coffee sports fans. It's not exactly gonna be warm tomorrow. But it'll be dry.

NOAA wx ticked the temp forecast up by 4 degrees... I bet we see the mid-60's by mid afternoon, it's gonna be toasty!

See you guys there-

GREAT ride today guys, always nice to get out for some leisurely desert riding! Hope everyone got home safe.

Thanks to the group for contributing tools and expertise to get Andy's bike up and running....and to Snortin' for running down to pick up Nitro.

Hey Dan etal, how'd your ride go today? We missed you guys on our route.

Man, love that 250, it's like ridin' a mountain bike!

We had a great ride, no flats or breakdowns :ride: We took 7N05 to 7N01 to 6N24/Ruby Canyon and out Lake Hughes Rd, spectacular views on top and lots of deep water crossings in Ruby Canyon, great time. I'm thinking of doing it again next weekend, Ruby Canyon from the San Francisquito side then head up to 7N08 to explore. I'll post later in the week.

Had a great time. Hit a little more dirt on the way down the mountain.

Sounds like a good ride. Maybe I can get out with you "West Siders" next weekend.

It was definitely a blast.
Love riding those trails out along the ridge tops. Perfect weather and nobody got hurt.
Thanks to Jon again for the pickup and everybody who helped with Andy's bike.
I didn't have a camera this time so somebody else will have to post picts.

Looking forward to another similar ride soon. Sounds like Ruby canyon has got water running. I always enjoy riding that canyon too.

Bike update: Tires are off the bike and tube is history. No major damage to the rim (unlike Terry's)
Maybe you can post a picture of that Fubar.

Cool ! Just shows you've been riding her like she was meant to be ridden ! Thats a badge of honor. I had a Yamaha YZ400 with one a tad bigger than that on the front rim ! :- Put some silicone between it & the tire & rode her for many many miles like that till I sold her. Didnt hurt a thing but was a real conversation piece.
