Please join us on 6/2/2012 and celebrate Keeping Trails open to all.
The Kern River Valley has a World Class network of multiple use trails that are open to
everyone from motorized use to hiking.
No organization works harder or is as effective as Stewards of the Sequoia at keeping
Sequoia trails open to everyone. Over the past seven years Stewards of the Sequoia have
accomplished so much and we want to ensure we have enough funding to be effective in
the upcoming Piute Trail Plan, Sequoia Forest Plan Revision, BLM Trail Plan and other
plans to ensure all trails remain open to everyone..
Your donations are also needed to support Stewards of the Sequoia Trail Appreciation
Program which performs maintenance on over 200 miles of trails each year. This year we
are expanding the program and have formally adopted 11 trails.
Mike Loomer, Cyclesmiths owner will be cooking up his Famous Slow-Smoked BBQ to
help us celebrate preserving trails in the Sequoia for everyone.
Stewards of the Sequoia is hosting this event to help raise the
money needed to KEEP YOUR TRAILS OPEN and Oppose Those
Who Want To Kick You Off Your Public Lands!
LEARN OFF ROAD TIPS FROM A PRO
