Well, there is some street time on the ride I just did. (Drinkwater to Ruby Canyon)
It's not so bad when you're with a group of riders. Safer, I think.
To do 2 loops around Drinkwater would only take about an hour to complete. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun ride. But just an hour of riding isn't enough to suit-up for.
Rowher Flats has a ton of trials to ride. If you've never been there, it's fun to explore. I've been there quite a few times. Good hill climbing there too.
Where do you guys want to ride?

I love single track, the more the better. Mixing it up is good too. Lets do a C ride. C as much as we can & go as many places as possible without double tracking as much as possible. Basically just wing it & have fun but stay off the pavement as much as we can. Scouting is always fun too. Those water crossings & rocky trails sound fun. Should be a good ride. Looking forward to riding with you guys. Too bad Roger cant make Sunday.

i dont know that area.. i've got to truck it in so where's a good place to park, so if there's some kind of loop it might end up close by.
i'm down in orange county so maybe a little help with directions and a time?

Unfortunately there isn't much single track on the Drinkwater / Ruby ride. Maybe we can start at Rowher and just explore.
Have you guys been to Rowher Flats?

I Have been to Rohwer a number of times under different conditions but need to mix it up some with other areas. Would like to check out Drinkwater & where ever else there is. We can just wing it. I would like to check out new areas. We can always include Rohwer. Whatever you guys want to do I am just along for the ride

Well, then why don't we meet at Drinkwater and go from there.

The staging are is across the road is usually empty. It's up San Francisquito Canyon about 3 miles.
I'll post a map to when I get off work.

I won't get there until 12:00 noon on Sunday.
Let me know who's going to ride so I know who to look for.

Sorry about the weird timing. I'm booked on Saturday and I can only get out late on Sunday.
There is some riding up there but, like I said, in about an hour, you're done.
I can't make it up there until noon. If you need to get up there earlier, I understand.
